Mother’s day is a special occasion in the community of faith. God has established the home as a place to train up children and establish a life long foundation of faith. Paul writes to Timothy in 2 Timothy a letter of encouragement. Early in this letter he reminds Timothy that his faith had received early instruction through his grandmother Lois and his mother Eunice.
